Latest on my commissioned piece. A lot of wood carved away already. As well as what you see I am carving the backside to reduce the weight because it is ultimately to hang on the wall.This photo shows the importance of lighting. Such a relatively flat sculpture requires strong side lighting to reveal its true shape.
